The Deanes Sports Centre is run in partnership with The Deanes School, it was established in 1997 as a facility that offered people in the local community the chance to participate in sport, in a friendly environment.
Over the years it has grown in size offering a wide range of sporting activities to the public and being the home of our very own Deanes LTA tennis club which has over 80 members.
We also have a hugely successful Junior Sports Programme in place all year round where we run over 60 classes a week catering for over a 1000 children in a variety of different sports.
The Castle Point Borough Council School Sports Partnership operates from the Deanes School where we provide local Primary Schools with before, during and after school sports coaching sessions ranging from, Football, Tennis, Basketball, Dance, Futsal and Archery to name a few.
